I ordered them from my local plastics supplier. Not something they stock, but they got me 6 48" X 96" panels for a project I was working on and had it drop shipped. They rolled up into a 24" X 48" tube for shipping.
The trade name is Vivak, and they are easily sourced over the Internet, but, they are also much more expensive that way. The generic PET-G is exactly the same thing.
Be warned, it is a bear to handle in those sizes.
It can be cut on a F3000, or with a sharp utility knife. It can be drilled, countersunk, and screwed to the backs of frames.
One nifty feature is that it can be scored and folded making a hinge. Hugh handed out some samples and challenged the class to fold and unfold it until it experienced plastic fatigue. None did.
I haven't talked with Hugh since 2015 at WCAF, but I'm sure he has come up with other uses for that product.
